Chef Jason Kerr has been working in restaurants for over 25 years - 17 of those have been in Houston. After graduating from an underground culinary school in Austin, TX in the 90's, Kerr moved to Houston and worked with several well-known local chefs before making a name for himself running kitchens like Zula Cafe Rabelais, the food truck Zilla Street Eats, and Lowbrow. Chef Kerr is known for his meat-centric, lowbrow-take on American comfort food. He is also the co-founder of the annual Butcher's Ball celebration in Brenham. Becca Reyenga, winner of Edible Houston’s 2017 Local Hero Award for Best Food Artisan, is the owner of Eat My Pralines, a small Houston-based business born from a family recipe for pecan pralines. In early 2017 Kerr and Reyenga joined forces to create a catering venture called Little Kitchen, HTX, where they specialize in farm dinner, beer dinners and wine dinners.

Luxury Sailing Catamaran Mimzy is a 44 ft semi-custom Dean Catamaran. With two comfortable guest cabins, Mimzy accommodates up to four guests in luxury and style. Come join Garden Oaks residents, Jason and Kim Ellis, and their son, Benjamin (GOMM Student) for a 6 night 7 day charter in the Virgin Islands. The trip is all inclusive and will include all meals, drinks and snacks aboard SV Mimzy. Mimzy stocks a standard selection of spirits, wine and non-alcoholic beverages. In each of Mimzy's two guest cabins there is a queen size berth with en suite bathroom and shower. Each cabin is air-conditioned but there are opening ports for natural ventilation and large windows ensuring plenty of natural light in the cabins.  Fans and reading lights are also available in each of the cabins. The vessel has large double sliding doors that open to the cockpit where a table with seating for eight awaits you.  Alfresco dining is truly one of the greatest pleasures of this style of vacation. There are sunscreens around the cockpit for shading the late afternoon sun.
